Demolition

With more than 20 types for heavy demolition work, we have the greatest variety in Japan. Our machines range in size from eight tons to 150 tons, so you can accomplish specialized tasks for operations of various scales. Hitachi also manufactures the highest demolition machine in the world (as of April, 2004), at 50 meters from base to attachment: the ZAXIS1400K with Long-Reach Demolition Front.

Demolition work involves a lot of falling dust, metal and concrete. In order to ensure the safety of your operators, our demolition spec excavators (K series) are built with a number of special features. These features include headguards and frontguards to protect the cabin from falling debris, and undercarriage guards to prevent metal from getting caught in the crawler.

Japan is earthquake country, and most buildings are built to resist any sort of shock. When you consider that machines have to be extra-tough in order to break such solidly-built structures, you can understand why our engineering is so advanced. Our demolition spec excavators are built with strong arms to handle even the sturdiest of buildings. Using our experience in a densely-populated country with a high rate of construction and demolition, we have developed some of the most efficient equipment & attachments ever produced.
